In this brilliantly directed short film featured on wonderlandmagazine.com, we see a collaboration between Wonderland Magazine and Evisu – “a brand named after the Japanese god of prosperity and also known as a cult denim brand giving a new meaning to a labour of love.”
In the film we see the demonstration, skill and precision behind traditional men’s grooming as the amazing bearded beauty Japok gets a haircut and another model goes for a shave – (I mean, we wouldn’t want to mess with Japok’s beard now would we?!)
Anyways, we’re definitely feeling the connection between the timelessness of old traditions and a classic pair of jeans.
Here’s a little fact for you – originally Evisu used to create 14 pairs of jeans a day where each pair of jeans was hand painted with the iconic seagull logo.
